Quest’opera allarmista è stata realizzata da Federico Errante nel 2008 per denunciare le violazioni dei diritti umani nei confronti dei minori ad oggi esistenti.
L’artista si scaglia contro lo sfruttamento del lavoro minorile, contro il fenomeno dei bambini-soldato, contro la violenza sui minori.
Un cartello di divieto, rosso come il sangue versato, è dipinto sopra una croce in rilievo e gli innocenti protagonisti della scena, realizzata interamente in soft bubble.
Le parole rafforzano il grido d’allarme: non possiamo più fingere di non vedere.
This alarmist work was created by Federico Errante in 2008 to denounce the existing violations of human rights against minors.
The artist rails against the exploitation of child labour, against the phenomenon of child soldiers, against violence against minors.
A prohibition sign, red like spilled blood, is painted over a cross in relief and the innocent protagonists of the scene, made entirely in soft bubble.
Words reinforce the cry of alarm: we can no longer pretend not to see.
